Millbrook Winery Wedding
This amazing wedding story with Zoe and Joshua
Zoe and Joshua originally planned to have their wedding at a lakeside location in Italy.
But due to the world wide pandemic in 2020 they needed to change their plans and look for a Perth wedding venue to celebrate their wedding.
They ended up choosing Millbrook Winery which is located in Jarrahdale, surrounded by vineyards and Jarrah trees that make the perfect backdrop for any wedding photos.
Once they booked in the venue they needed to find a photographer to capture their special day.
Zoe’s sister Phoebe had booked with me to photograph her wedding 5 weeks after Zoe’s and said go see Paul, which she did and ended up booking me also.
We did the bridal preparation photos at Fraser Suites in East Perth which is a great location to use for getting ready photos.
The ceremony was held at St Michael The Archangel Chapel in West Leederville.
Joshua and his groomsmen arrived in classic Australia muscle cars while Zoe arrived at the church in a horse drawn carriage with her father seated next to her.
After the family and large group photos we captured a lot of images around the church grounds with the beautiful old buildings of the church as a backdrop and of course lots of photos with the horses.
After arriving at Millbrook Winery in two classic limos which were supplied from Belle Limos, we took so many great images around the grounds of the winery.
The cellar and lake are really great spots for photos at the winery along with the road out the front of Millbrook with it’s lines of Jarrah trees.
After the wedding party photos finished Zoe and Joshua relaxed with their bridesmaids and groomsmen for a drink and canapé before entering the venue.
Upon entering, sparklers went off as they walked through the doors which was a great surprise and added an amazing atmosphere to their entrance.
The evening went off smoothly, the guests enjoyed dancing the night away with great food and drinks that is always top notch at Millbrook.
